Whenever I draw one of Bubble89’s characters I usually get the sudden urge to draw characters with animal ears :o
and instead of doing the obvious and drawing a character who actually HAVE animal ears to begin with this happened.
…I’m sure you are all pretty tired of seing Nils by now, sorry I guess, but at least I’m having fun drawing this character ;)
Also worth pointing out - everyone else in their team in the story has something to do with animals, Nils being the exception, so I guess this had to be drawn at some point anyway? ;)

I tried to color it, I wanted a bit more movement in it though (like the hat bouncing up and down a little or something) but whenever I did something like that it would turn out REALLY bad.
so have this kinda lazy version instead.
Probably one of my better walk cycles I think?

doodled around a little with my left hand, ended up liking it so let my right hand go CRAZY with the brush pen.
I actually like it, this time I think the uneven lines worked in favor for this piece!
…though I can’t find ANY eraser at home so I don’t know when I can color it.
and this was toootally Don Rosa inspired because reading his work always makes me draw details and backgrounds and askjdakjdkj

I wanted to practise some more inking using that brush pen with my left hand, and I still don’t think it looks all too bad, certainly not after putting some color on it!
or maybe that’s just me because I totlly lower my expectations when drawing with my left hand?
also using a tablet with your non dominant hand is SO DARN HARD YOU HAVE NO IDEA.

ok so earlier I told myself that I would neither draw today nor sit on the computer, and here I am doing both… (not combined though)
after reading some comics I suddenly got a sudden burst of inspiration to draw and old character of mine -Nils- as I realised I haven’t tried to compare how much my now “cartoony” style differs from the one I used earlier for this dude :o
I do like this a lot better than how it used to look, and I MIGHT be able to live with the uneven brushstrokes in a style like this without my brain going crazy! GREAT!
